Jewish Families

Picture
Germans put Jews in concentration camps, were tested unused medication. Families were spread from each other which meant they could not keep contact. One thing Hitler did was when an elderly person in the family died his men would bring the family to see the dead body and they would laugh. Most families in The Holocaust lived in a silent area in a unrecognizable home and they would still whisper not giving any chances to be taken away. Jews were forced from their homes and driven in cattle cars (on trains) so Jews were trapped and when they were caught escaping they would be persecuted as soon as possible. Those who were still alive were cataloged a number in their arm so they can tell if you were missing and Nazis would have scouts to find you. Other people, such as Gypsies, homosexuals, transgendered people, Poles, mentally impaired, and Communists had it worse. They were not taken any chances but killed at the spot or planned an execution the next day to then be killed.“As many as two thirds of Europe was gone”(Safiki 2-8 -11).
